GUEST SPEAKER:  Brad Ross, PhD., PE

Brad is a Registered Professional Mining Engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry.  His career has taken Brad and his family to several locations such as Texas, Ohio, Wyoming, Arizona and Namibia where they lived for 3 1/2 years.  When they moved to Tucson in 2015, he started up an independent consulting company.  Brad also teaches a graduate level class on Engineering Sustainable Development at the U of A. 

LECTURE TITLE:  "Artisanal Mining in Namibia"  This talk will cover the minerals and mineral locations in Namibia and the people that mine them.
